BREAKING; TRIBUNAL KICKS OUT DOUYE DIRI

 Bayelsa election tribunal nullifies Douye Diri's election The election tribunal hearing the petition of ANDP over the exclusion of the party from the 2019 governorship by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has nullified the election, ordering a conduct of fresh election with 90 days. Delivering the judgement on behalf of the three-man panel, justice Yunusa Musa , said INEC has no right to disqualify any candidate , consequently making the disqualification of the deputy governorship candidate Mr. David Esinkumo and the removal of ANDP from the list of candidates illegal. INEC has earlier defended the disqualification of David Esinkumo based on his age . It was revealed David Esinkumo was only 34 years at the time of the submission hence the disqualification. ANDP disagreed with INEC , saying it met the requirements by replacing the said candidate before the deadline as stipulated by the Electoral Act . Senator kashamu Died of Coronavirus - Ben Bruce

PDP will miss him as a great party Stalwart Former Senator Ben Bruce has revealed his friend and party colleague, Senator Buruji Kashamu, representing Ijebu North Senatorial District of Ogun state died of Covid-19 complications. Ben Bruce made this known through his Twitter handle earlier today. The sudden death of Sen. Kashamu came as a shock to PDP members who were holding state congresses across different states of the federation today. Sources say , Kashamu has been battling with the deadly Coronavirus after testing positive at an undisclosed health facility before he eventually gave up the ghost. Hoodlums Attack Church, Kill Four in Yenagoa

 It was an Assassination Attempt-Pastor Yet to be identified gunmen storm the premises of  Lion of Judah Deliverance  Fire Ministry, Bakery Road, Azikoro area of Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, killing four persons, including a couple. Xtrim News finds out, the attackers try to break into the apartment of the senior pastor of the church before killing the security guard and others . The pastor who later confided in some of his church members, claims, the incident was a clear attempt to Assassinate him by some dubious elements in the capital city. The incident has made residents of the Azikoro axis of  Yenagoa city live in perpetual fear despite the Nigeria Police Force, Bayelsa State Command,promises of investigating the crime and bringing perpetrators to book. Yenagoa, the capital city of the oil rich Bayelsa State has in the past couple of years engulfed in series of organised crimes, sea piracy and cultism,leading to fatalities and destruction of properties.
