Police Arrest Protesters for Demanding 100k Allowances for Security Agents

The Nigerian security forces have clamp down on some RevolutionNow protesters organized by African Action Congress ( AAC) National Leader, Mr. Omoyele Sowore in lagos , Abuja and few other states .
Some of the protesters were beaten, arrested, others made to face humiliating conditions despite the peaceful protest.
This is coming at a time , Nigeria is passing through economic depression mainly because of the Covid-19 pandemic and huge foreign debt profile due to financial misappropriation.
As at the time of this report, Xtrim News couldn't get the inspector General of Police for comment .
The actions of the security agents have since been greeted with numerous outcry and condemnation across the country especially human rights activists and civil rights organisations.
The protesters were on the streets, demanding for an 100k increase in military and police salaries/allowances , sack of service chiefs , free education, amongst others.
