HRM Godspower Oporomo is the Best Niger-Delta king-NIDSUG

The Niger-Delta Students Union Government (NIDSUG), comprises of the nine states of the oil rich Niger-Delta, eulogizes His Royal Majesty, Pere Godspower Tam Oporomo, the Taraza one of Kerebiri Mein Kingdom as the best education friendly monarch of the Niger-Delta.
This was revealed to xtrim News by the national DCM of the renowned students' union, Mr Emieye Kemepade Romeo amidst other students at the palace , after the presentation of an award of excellence by the students' body. According to him, " We, the students of the Niger-Delta believe in equity and of such want Delta State government to officially recognize the kerebiri Mein Kingdom and other kingdoms in the same circumstances across the Niger-Delta with  staffs of office.
We come to present this award of excellence to this heroic , selfless, loving and intellectual king, who happens to be a one time students union leader, because of his matchless legacies in education and his historical struggle for the emancipation of the Niger-Delta as a pioneer INC member.I want to tell you, the Niger-Delta Students are proud of you and will always support your quest for the recognition of Kerebiri Mein Kingdom by government."
Receiving the award with his beautiful queen,which coincided with a general meeting of Kerebiri Mein kingdom, about the purported invitation of the massively loved monarch by the Nigerian police Delta State command in respect of a mischievously prompted petition by Akugbene Mein Kingdom,  HRM  Godspower Oporomo thanks the students for the honor and advises them to be steadfast in their studies and always stand in the path of truth . In his words, " I urge you all be serious in your studies as a primary responsibility . On behalf of my peace loving Kingdom I appreciate this gesture and recognition. I assure you , I will continue to work to promote education and unity amongst the Niger-Delta traditional institutions.
The Kerebiri Mein Kingdom is the largest in Bomadi LGA and it will be justifiable for government to officially recognize such an important kingdom that has contributed immensely to the development of Nigeria, Delta State in particular both in  mineral and human resources ."
Also speaking in same purpose, Barrister Fun-Ororo Narebor , (who was once invited by the DSS and police for speaking against the injustice on the kingdom) see  the award as a sign of victory for the kingdom against  external aggressors who are not happy of the monarch's genuine and productive struggle for a staff of office.
" Over the past months we have been intimidated , harrassed by the DSS and the Nigerian police through the influence of Akugbene Mein Kingdom, our sister kingdom, that for reasons best known to them are not comfortable with our sincere cries for recognition by government. This award is coming at a time when truth is needed . I am glad , these young students are towing the right path ." He says.
On his part , fierce and dogged African human rights activist, social critic and writer, Comrade Tam Oburumu, a prominent son of the kingdom simply see the award as a light on the torch of advancement.
In his words, " Kerebiri Mein Kingdom has come to stay and this award of excellence to our great king is a light on the torch of advancement. Kerebiri Mein Kingdom has come to stay no matter the political intimidation, maneuvers and influences.  Nothing can stop it from standing. It's just like the movement of the Israelites from Egypt to Canaan, HRM Godspower Oporomo is our Joshua in this particular struggle!
I encourage our great king not to be discouraged in this genuine struggle for justice.
It's a grievous injustice for not recognizing the largest kingdom in Bomadi LGA by government and until we achieve this aim, the struggle continues."
The Award presentation was witnessed by some imminent sons and daughters of the kingdom including Chief Sunday Zifere, a philanthropist and staunch believer of Kerebiri Mein Kingdom traditions .
