OLOROGUN FESTIVAL: SUNNY OFEHE CELEBRATES AYAKOROMO

The governorship candidate of the Young Progressive Party( YPP) Comrade Sunny Ofehe has promised to make the renowned Ayakoromo Olorogun Festival an international tourist attraction in Delta State when he becomes the governor in 2023.
Sunny Ofehe made the promise through Tam Oburumu ,the House of Assembly Candidate of the party,Bomadi constituency. Ofehe hopes to be physically present at the festival if schedules are not too stringent because he is a grassroots man.
According to Sunny Ofehe who has spent 27 years in the Netherlands, tourism is one vital area in governance to drawing foreign investors and the Ayakoromo Olorogun festival has over the years demonstrated that. In a congratulatory message to the Ijaw people and Ayakoromo in particular, he expresses optimism in exploring the natural, cultural and traditional endowments of the Ijaw people to create job opportunities..
According to him the Ijaw area is just like the Miami beaches that can attract huge revenue to develope the people aside oil. The age long annual festival which starred in 1934 will take place this year January the 28th 2023.
