Tam Oburumu Biography

 Oburumu Tamaraukepreye, popularly known as  Tam Oburumu is a Nigerian writer, activist, social critic and tutor. He was born on the 26th,December,1977 at the Central Hospital Warri, Bendel state, now Delta State.Though he has genealogical affiliations with Orogun ,Ofonibengha and Okpare towns, he hails from Ogbeinama and Ayakoromo towns, both in Delta State, Nigeria.  CHILDHOOD  Tam Oburumu grew up with his maternal grandparents after a brief stay with his mother Aleibiriere Onduku-Oburumu, who was a primary school teacher at Bomadi town. Her sudden sack from the teaching job in the early eighties forced the young Tam and his siblings Tobi, Timi and Tare to stay with his grandmother, Oyakemederikumor Amgbaduba -Onduku.  Tam Oburumu was at different times shuttling between his maternal grandmother and grandfather Chief T. Activist Complains About Bomadi Road

 Mr Tam Oburumu,  a renowned writer and activist has decried the bad state of the Bomadi expressway that links the East west road especially the nearly erosion  damaged  bridge before Bulu-Apelebri  . He said this statement on his official facebook page . "Again, I am grievously concerned about the deplorable condition  of the bridge before Bulu-Apelebiri on the Bomadi road.  The bridge is in the brink of collapsing if something urgent is not done. Erosion has eaten  beneath the bridge and it's only the waned out iron brims holding it temporarily. This is danger. This is the only road linking Bomadi LGA to other areas of Delta State with frequent and heavy vehicular traffic. I have complained several times  about the death trap but all on deaf ears . These politicians don't care about anything except stealing of public funds. The flood season is fast approaching and innocent people including political leaders will die on that bridge soon ...
