BREAKING NEWS- NDC candidate's Billboard Destroyed
Despite fulfilling the financial requirements of Bomadi LGA council by the NDC house of assembly candidate, Comrade Jerry Agbalakoko Opuofeni, the Bomadi LGA staff in company of weapon wielding thugs destroyed his billboard. The highly condemnable and primitive display of executive rascality and impunity by the staffs and thugs was according to information on our disposal was allegedly ordered by Hon. Dagidi Andaye, the present executive chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council.
XTRIM NEWS confirms the receipt of payment for the erection/ installation of billboards duly paid to the firm, ALVIN AKASSA GLOBAL RESOURCES LTD assigned by the LGA chairman. Comrade Jerry Opuofeni paid the sum of Four hundred and fifty five thousand naira (#455,000.00) as yearly approval to Alvin Akassa Global Resources Limited on the 13th of May, 2026 to their first Bank Account ( 200***2028).
On the 25th of May, 2026, Akassa.E, the head of revenue collection issued Comrade Jerry Agbalakoko Opuofeni a receipt to that effect. The receipt was duly signed by both Comrade Jerry and Akassa. Having legitimately fulfilled the requirements in terms of finance and others, it will amount to alleged victimization and intimidation for reasons best known to the leadership of Bomadi LGA. Speaking on the issue, Comrade Jerry Agbalakoko Opuofeni demands an apology and the immediate reinstallation of his billboard with the Bomadi LGA council bearing the 100% financial expenses. At press time, Xtrim News, as a responsible media firm with ethical record reached out to the Bomadi LGA chairman Hon.Dagidi Andaye to hear his own side of the story. He promised to call us back but is yet to do that. Xtrim News will be ready to hear his own side of this very sad and disappointing event in Bomadi LGA.
