Zifere Eulogized Father's Anniversary

Ogbeinama stands still for the prestigious family of Pa Zifere Tenman Oyabogha aka Owei Akanbara as they celebrated his 28th death anniversary in an epoch making narrative. The day, 8th March 2024 was unprecedented with several traditional and cultural activities as exemplified by Pa Oyabogha Tenman Zifere during his lifetime as a community leader. The morning procession by his children, grandchildren ,great grandchildren and well wishers was a spectacle beyond the conventional owu ogele. The colourful enthusiasm of the masquerade display was sheerly entertaining , vibrating the sociological embers of Abalamo ( a masquerade, historically traced to Pa Oyabogha Tenman Zifere in 1960) who brought it to Ogbeinama during one of his fishing expeditions in Akassa . Safugha Gifts Community School Borehole

There is tremendous excitement and jubilation at the Ogbein-ama Secondary School, Ogbein-ama as Barrister Safugha Newworld, a former Delta State Commissioner of Power and Energy gifts the school a modern borehole. The school that has been complaining of lack of drinkable water over the years is finally given facelift at the completion of the water project sponsored solely by Barr.Safugha. The overjoyous staff and students throng around the tap to have a taste of purified water in the first time since its establishment. This is a philanthropic gesture that will no doubt go a long way in alleviating the social essentials of motivating both the teachers and students in putting their best in the pursuit of quality education.
