The Abelic Consequence In A Cainic Grace by Tam Oburumu

The Abelic Consequence of A Cainic Grace - Tam Oburumu Is Angry On Sundays According to the controversial book of Genesis, written by Moshe, the Hebrew word which was transliterated into Moses, God demanded sacrifices from two brothers Abel and Cain. ( Genesis 4:1-16) Moses wrote, God accepted Abel's sacrifice of fresh animals over Cain, his elder brother's agricultural produce. This was surely, due to the bad state of Cain's items, as claimed by Moses. According to the same Moshe, God was happy with Abel and gladly accepted his blood offering because the animals were bulky and healthy but rebuked Cain which eventually spurred him to murder his younger brother out of envy! The figurative implication of this biblical strory is deep with only those whom are religiously free will depict its thematic disposition. The sole objective of this my piece. The questions are, why was God, after accepting Abel's sacrifice didn't protect him from being brutally murdered by Cain? Why did Abel die in such a terrible way after being in the book of God? Why was Cain allowed to live, protected from other enemies, got married in the land of Nod and lived in peace thereafter? On my scholarly exposition, I will give a precise attempt on these questions, purely on neutral grounds and not bounded by any religiously sentiment.
On my premise, though subject to argument, I see Abel 's Sacrifice as a temporary measure to restitute with God . Moshe didn't elaborate on the characters of Abel and Cain so we couldn't conclude whether Abel and Cain were good men and friendly brothers before the incident. This is very difficult to make precision. However , I believe there might have been an internal rancor between the two brothers which Moshe failed to elaborate. Abel might see the demand for sacrifice from God as an opportunity to mend ways with God which Cain clearly didn't put into consideration. Abel is the crafty type and Cain the carefree one who failed to realize that to gain favor, no matter clean you are, you must be witty, selfish and manipulative. This is the same principle, Jacob played on Esau. A principle many successful of this contemporary age is applying.... I am not a fan of the Abelic principle though. On why God didn't protect Abel from being killed after receiving his offering and applauding the gesture is more of the principle of physical and psychological defence. God will never come down to your defence but can give your advantages on some basic flanks to triumph over troubles as exemplified in the times of King David, Job, Moses, Abraham etc.. Abel should have known that his brother wasn't happy and would have been very careful. He should have tried to defend himself to show his willingness to survive but he didn't, basking foolishly on the fora of the kind words from God after the sacrifice but God hates foolishness. The truth, your goodness or Godly deeds won't protect you from evil or bad people. You must be physically and spiritually prepared to protect yourself only that can bring the grace of God to assist you in your battles or endeavors. Some religious leaders have argued, God allowed Abel to be killed to make him join him in heaven but I am one of those who vehemently oppose such laughable submission. If that was the reason, Moshe (Moses) wouldn't have omitted such important, in fact, the most part of the controversial story. I strongly adhere to the principle that, Abelic blessings are not enough to keep you alive . You also need the Cainic grace to survive on earth. When you achieve favor and wealth though the Abelic theory, you must need the Cainic grace to sustain it hence you will never live long to sustain it. You should be aware, the enemies are lurking. The Abelic consequence is death and you will not be protected by anyone. This is one reason why crafty and manipulative individuals succeed more in their various professions be it politics, sports, civil service religion etc... They know what and when to offer to achieve their desires but they must be prepared to defend themselves for outplaying others who will automatically become dangerous enemies ( the Cainic persons. To succed you must an Abel, to survive you must be a Cain!
