I have never been this angered, disappointed in Nigerians, especially Delta state citizens who are pass-marking such a shame from an elder whose footprints should have been exemplary... What's the will of the so called people you guys are leading? Where is the democracy you claim to be practicing when some few persons sit in a room drenched with terrible stench of alcohol, cigarettes and prostitutes to dictate who becomes the next stooge? The result of our gullibility and tolerance for bad leadership in the Niger Delta is like a fish drowning in a river! A fish that dies in a river is either sick or naturally succumbing to the will of death or baited by bloodthirsty humans. How can we be this undeveloped when we have human and natural resources in abundance? An answer we all know yet decided to live like Old Major in Eric Blair's Animal Farm. The sad answer to the rhetoric questionings of a straying people is, we are a people whose actions are influenced by money and not wisdom or creativity . We're a people who see mental or physical prisons as a culture , a traditional and religious convenience.Keeping with refundable norms without transmitting toward civilization or developmental evolution. We are a people who see mediocre persons with fake profiles as comrades, traditional rulers, political leaders and freedom fighters. Profiles of morally reproaching individuals are hyped to political, traditional or religious leaders by same people who are direct victims of bad leadership.. Insanity! To this end, it's clear, we are a finished generation merely existing to pass a waned-out baton to an unprepared subsequent one.. A generation whose foundation for the future has no foundation. That's why we leave our stupid leaders, who are actually the reason of our backwardness to spike the mutilated fire of tribe and religion elsewhere.. That's why some greedy and empty individuals will meet in hotels and their private rooms to determine who will be your president, governors, legislators and chairmen ! I can never take a statement from the Niger Delta, particularly Ijaw seriously until we seek to clean up our rat infested house inwardly. I am sick and tired,seeing people who are in dire need for help dance around the wildfire with the oppressors in the name of tribe and political affiliation.
