Tam Oburumu Commemorates His Birthday With The 1825 Decembrist Revolution

African writer and civil rights activist celebrates his birthday by eulogizing the 26th December 1825 Russian Decembrist Revolution. According to an official statement on his facebook page, the ever rugged and determined activist says he's honoured being born on same day when the Decembrist Revolution took place even if of different years. Commemorating the Lion's Birthday With The 26th 1825 Russian Decembrist Revolution In December 26th, 1825 a group of soldiers protested against Nicholas 1 as the new emperor after the death of Constatine in St. Petersburg, Russia . The soldiers, numbering about 3000 participated in the protest against all odds that became famously known as the the Decembrist Revolution. This should in fact be a spectacular moral event every patriotic soldier and citizen should emulate in today's Nigeria where worst things have been happening recently. The Nigerian military is forced to live and fight in terrible circumstances with outdated weapons, low incentives and poorly trained personnel. The military has lost many of their finest personnel to insurgency, militancy and separatist movements across Nigeria because of the highly corrupt and incompetent political leadership .
The military in collaboration with every good-intent Nigerian can help save this dying country and its democracy from total extinction if it's truly established to protect the sovereignty of this country. Enough of allowing these present crop of political lunatics destroy our collective destiny. However, I am honored basically as an activist and social crusader to be born in a day with such an amazing historical value . A 26th Decembrist. "
