African human rights activist, Comr. Tam Oburumu is finally set to launch his much anticipated English Textbook "THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE SENTENCE, A Simplified Approach, For Secondary and Fresh Students in Higher Institutions".
Speaking to Xtrim news, the highly creative activist and writer says, the venue, date and time will be made available soon.
In his words, " I am consulting some friends, colleagues , family members etc to enable me fix a convenient day for every guest. The date, venue and time will be announced with strict adherence to the Covid-19 guidelines.This is the first time an Ijaw person from the Niger Delta extraction is working on such academic work in recent times. I am working on the realistic preface of the book. Only those who supported this project financially or morally will be mentioned. I am looking at printing at least two thousand copies before the launching."
Xtrim News finds out that, the book's forward was written by a renowned scholar Dr. Ben Olanusi who is a principal lecturer in Adeyemi College of Education Ondo and Obafemi Awolowo University, a man comrade Tam gives much respect.
THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE SENTENCE is designed for secondary schools and fresh students in higher institutions across Africa.
The book is simply written and focuses on the basics of constructing a simple sentence. Having confidence to make good sentences is the bedrock of commanding the English language. This is what the book offers to the second language speakers.
The author, Tam Oburumu, was born in 1977 at the Warri Central Hospital, Bendel State , now Delta State. He is from the Ijaw and Urhobo ethnic groups.A very passionate, energetic, creative and highly gifted writer in this contemporary age.
He has numerous poems, plays and novels that are equally on their way to publication.
