The Biafran Definition - Tam Oburumu

Secessionists Should Seek Sympathetic Allies Not Arrogance- Tam Oburumu's View Days back I tried to hold back a tear from a sympathetic eye , soaked in watery glands about the show of arrogance and ignorance by Nnamdi Kanu ,the self styled leader of Indigenous People's Of Biafra ( IPOB). Nnamdi Kanu on socia media, mocked the usage of the acronym, "Niger Delta region" and went ahead referring to everyone with that concept as ignorants, fools, slaves, animals .. He made silly references of other deltas around the world as just places of tributaries and not political regions, for instance the Nile Delta in North Africa etc.. He arrogantly, maybe not delibrately, undermined the struggle of the our Niger Delta hero , Major Adaka Issac Boro who sacrificed everything to give us a conscience of self determination and freedom.. This infantile recklessness from a supposed leader of a skeletal group, seeking relevance is totally condemnable and belittling. More significantl...

Tam Oburumu Resigns From AAC

Renowned African writer and activist has officially announced his decision to leave the African Action congress (AAC). He made this known to journalists and his constituency on his official facebook page. In his words : "This is to formally announce that due to very discouraging and highly retrogressing circumstances in AAC, I made consultations with close allies ,my followers and family members which prompted my decision to leave the African Action congress (AAC). As a pioneer member of the African Action Congress I tried my best to broker peace amongst the various factions whose power tussle destroyed the very foundation of the party. It's painful that, a young party filled with life and purpose falls so cheaply to the selfish desires of some individuals. I will continue to support every genuine struggle for freedom of genuine people in Nigeria and the world in general. In the subsequent weeks, I will make my future to represent our people qualitatively public."...
